Bridgestone Plants Are 'Fully Operational' Again

March 11, 2022

A Bridgestone Americas Inc. spokesperson has confirmed that all of the company's manufacturing plants in North America and Latin America "are back online and fully operational."

Bridgestone recently experienced an "information security incident" that temporarily shut down its new tire production in North America and impacted its dealers and Bandag retreaders. (Click here to read MTD Senior Editor Joy Kopcha's report.)

In addition to the restoration of operations, "we continue to accelerate the fulfillment of customer orders and delivery via direct shipments from our distribution centers and warehouses and customers continue to experience a steady increase in tire supply.

"Execution of our business continuity plan remains on track and we are committed to minimizing impact to our customers and teammates."
