Tire’s Warehouse Inc. (TWI) is opening a 140,000-square-foot distribution facility in Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
Scheduled to open Nov. 1, 2010, the new location will give TWI in excess of 250,000 square feet of warehousing space to meet the needs of tire dealers in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada. The company, which is headquartered in Corona, Calif., also has distribution centers in Corona, Sylmar and Fountain Valley, Calif.
TWI was established in 1974 and is a family-owned operation with a fleet of 65 delivery trucks that provide twice-daily delivery service. TWI primarily distributes Hankook, Falken, Nexen, Kumho, Sumitomo, Bridgestone, Firestone, Continental, General and Yokohama brand tires as well as TWI house brands Achilles, Delinte, Doral, Durun, Gladiator, Unicorn/ Neptune, Pegasus and Rotalla.
TWI also is developing plans for distribution centers in the Northern California area, the company notes.
