Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) is adding four more sizes, all with VF technology, to the AgriMax V-Flecto tire for high-powered tractors.
The first new size, VF 710/70 R 42, is available now, and will soon be followed by three more: VF 750/70 R 44, VF 710/75 R 38 and VF 710/55 R 38.
BKT says the tire meets the modern needs of farmers — it works better, is sustainable, and it saves time and resources, making a "significant contribution to improving results." The company says the AgriMax V-Flecto improves tractor performance on every type of terrain.
Among its benefits, BKT says the tire makes it possible to maximize loads without changing tire pressure, regardless of speed, managing to carry 40% more weight than a standard tire of the same size and with the same recommended rim. It also reduces soil compaction thanks to its wider footprint area. BKT says the AgriMax V-Flecto is durable, offering 10% longer life than a standard equivalent. The tire's "ultra-resistant casing and the special strengthened bead" allow AgriMax V-Flecto to utilize the tractor's power both in the field and on the road.
It's also the first BKT tire to use NRO (Narrow Rim Option) Technology, conforming to the standards recorded by the European Tire and Rim Technology Organization (ETRTO). This marking makes it possible to use standard wheels instead of ones dedicated to VF tires.
With the additional sizes, the AgriMax V-Flecto will be available in 22 sizes.
