The Tire Industry Association's (TIA) OTR Tire Conference will take place Feb. 21-24 in Las Vegas, Nev.
On Feb. 21, according to TIA officials, "attendees will be treated to a live, hands-on off-road tire and wheel Service demonstration," headed by TIA Director of OTR Tire Service Matt White. "This virtual journey transports participants to a jobsite, providing an immersive experience of the intricate procedures involved in servicing the largest tires and wheels on the planet. This exclusive demonstration offers a unique window into field operations without leaving the conference venue."
On Feb. 22, Ciaran Little, vice president, Asia Pacific & the Americas division for Smithers, "will share insights into the current and future landscape of the OTR tire market. From its humble beginnings in a three-bay garage in Akron, Ohio, Smithers has evolved into the foremost authority on tire testing and market analysis. Little's presentation will delve into regional variations, end-use applications in North America, key trends, and the evolving impact of sustainability on the OTR tire industry."
The conference will conclude on Feb. 23 "with an inspiring keynote address by none other than Rudy Ruettiger, the real-life inspiration behind the 1993 critically acclaimed film 'Rudy.'
