Southern Tire Mart LLC, the largest commercial tire dealership in the United States, has opened a new outlet in Mobile, Ala.
The Columbia, Miss.-based company hosted a customer appreciation/open house event at the multi-bay location on Oct. 11.
With more than 215 outlets, Southern Tire Mart holds the top spot on MTD’s 2024 Top 25 Independent Commercial Tire Dealers list, which appears in the October issue of MTD.
Southern Tire Mart also operates 26 retread plants across its footprint and has a fleet of more than 1,900 emergency roadside service trucks.
The company’s owners, Tommy and Jim Duff, were the recipients of MTD’s Tire Dealer of the Year Award in 2021.
