A Kenworth truck that will haul the U.S. Capitol Christmas tree is rolling on Apollo EnduMile LHfront and EnduMile LHD tires.
The Kenworth T680, owned by Lynden Transport, “began its journey in Alaska, making stops along the way to engage with communities and spread holiday cheer,” according to Apollo officials.
“The truck is part of the annual cross-country tour that culminates in the delivery of the tree to the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol for the annual lighting ceremony. Apollo Tires’ advanced tire technology will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient transport of the tree on its 4,000-mile journey.”
Laurence Bennett, associate vice president, TBR U.S. and Global OHT, Apollo Tyres, says that the company’s “specialized tires ensure that trucks, especially those on cross-country or extended routes, can rely on optimal performance and efficiency throughout the journey.
“This cross-country trek showcases the beauty of the holiday season alongside the resilience of our tires, designed to endure and excel across diverse terrain. Through this incredible journey, we're supporting the spirit of togetherness and celebration from coast to coast, proudly carrying our brand's excellence every mile of the way."
