The Global Tire Expo is more than a consumer tire and wheel show. Commercial tires are also part of the mix on the trade show floor.
Two farm tires were introduced this week. At the Alliance Tire Group booth, a new high-speed flotation tire was on display. And East Bay Tire Co. showed off its new American-made Farm Dawg tire.
Alliance: The 396 is built for high speed (up to 62 mph). It features all-steel construction and an aggressive tread pattern with sharp shoulder lugs.
It is available in two sizes: 445/65R22.5 and 600/50R22.5.
East Bay Tire: The Farm Dawg USA R-1 tire features heavy-duty lugs for traction and stability. The high, multi-angled long bar tread pattern is designed to provide optimum "self-cleanout," according to the company.
The tire is available in five sizes: 6-12, 7-14, 7-16, 8-16 and 9.5-16.
The Global Tire Expo is part of the SEMA (Specialty Equpment Market Association) Show, which is held during Automotive Aftermarket industry Week every year. This year's exposition will run through Friday, Nov. 7, 2014.
