Prinx Chengshan Tire North America Inc. has unveiled its PTL1 Spread-Axle Trailer Tire.
The PTL1 has a “specialized compound” that is designed to “thrive under the pressure of wear and tear,” according to Prinx officials.
Other features of the tire include an arc shoulder design to evenly distribute lateral force; a substantial-angle zigzag pattern on the shoulder groove to ensure stability and amplify resistance against fatigue; incorporated stone ejectors; a bead filler and high-strength rim cushion to help with high-load spread-axle applications; and more.
All Prinx TBR tires have a five-year/two-retread guarantee.
