TBC Corp. recognized the 2021 ASE Master Technicians of the Year for its retail and franchise brands – NTB Tire & Service Centers, Big O Tires and Midas.
Every year the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) selects technicians based on specific criteria, including ASE certification level, commitment to total customer satisfaction and community involvement.
The winners are:
* Scott Horst, an ASE master technician at NTB Tire & Service Centers in Baltimore, Md., who recently decided to recertify, achieving one of highest scores on his ASE testing;
• Thomas Baldwin, an ASE master technician and assistant manager at Midas in St. Peters, Mo., who has been a technician for more than 15 years, and;
• Sam Campbell, an ASE master technician at Big O Tires in Springfield, Mo., whose passion for all things automotive began at the age of 13, when he restored a car, alongside his father.
