Prometeon Tyre Group Commercial Solutions LLC celebrates the victory of Martin Macík Jr. in the truck category at the 47th edition of the Dakar, a racing event held in the Arabian desert.
The Prometeon S02 Rally tires, designed to withstand the harshest conditions, delivered some exceptional performances for Macík and his crew on both sand and rock, enduring all the stresses they were subjected to and proved decisive in their victory over the second-placed team, trailing by two hours and 21 minutes, with 10 stages won out of 12.
The S02 Rally tires used in the race are the result of close collaboration between Prometeon’s R&D team and the MM Technology team, as well as the experience acquired by the Italtrans Racing Team during the 2024 edition of the world’s toughest rally, where Claudio Bellina, the founder and team driver of Italtrans, raced with Prometeon tires.
The Prometeon S02 Rally tire, which debuted at this year’s edition of the competition, is part of the new Series 02 and shares the same technological package, specifically tailored to rally competitions. Reinforced sidewalls, a custom-designed tread pattern, the compound formulated to ensure maximum traction across a wide range of temperatures and surfaces, and the reinforced tire and bead structure.
