Tire Consultants Group LLC (TCG), a consultancy that specializes in providing sales, branding, advertising, marketing and operational support to tire dealers and wholesalers in North America, has appointed tire industry veteran Larry Harris to oversee product marketing and market intelligence.
Harris has over 37 years of experience in the tire industry. His vast and varied background includes leadership roles in several areas, including serving as a chemist in research and development, planning of new innovations and products, product marketing, and market intelligence and business analysis.
At Michelin Group’s R & D facility in Greenville, S.C. his duties included the concept-to-launch of innovations and products for original equipment and replacement tires for passenger, light truck and heavy truck vehicles. For the last 22 years, Harris has worked in product marketing and market intelligence at Michelin where he consulted with North American and international employees and clients on a range of issues.
Harris has earned several professional awards and commendations and holds two scientific patents and a marketing patent for the logic of the tire selector.
