The California Tire Dealers Association (CTDA) held its holiday get-together at Turbo Wholesale Tires in Irwindale, Calif., providing tire dealers with networking opportunities and a look at new industry technology.
Representatives of Tire Base, a software solution for tire businesses, shared a presentation featuring its new point-of-sale software platform.
“Giving our members the opportunity to network with other dealers is an important part of our mission,” says Marc Connerly, executive director for CTDA.
“Doing so at the holidays, when people like to unwind and take a break from the day-to-day responsibilities of running a business, is especially meaningful.”
Dinner was hosted by Turbo Wholesale Tires, with additional support from 1-800EveryRim OEM Wheels, Tire Base and Federated Insurance, which sponsored a raffle for two high-end coolers.
This meeting comes weeks before the 11th edition of the annual CTDA/1-800EveryRim New Year luncheon, which will take place on Jan. 18 in Commerce, Calif.
The luncheon is free to tire dealers and will feature Keith Jarman, president of the Tire Industry Association, and more guest speakers.
