Saint John, New Brunswick-based Andy’s Tire Group has acquired Prince Edward Island-based Cantrek Tire & Supply, a tire wholesaler.
“We are thrilled to expand our distribution network to now cover all three Maritime provinces.” says Craig MacKenzie, president of Andy’s Tire Group, which operates 35 retail and commercial tire outlets and two commercial tire retreading facilities in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
“We're excited to introduce new products to the (Prince Edward Island) market, while maintaining the local touch that Island customers have come to value.”
Officials from Andy’s Tire Group say that “existing customers at Cantrek Tire & Supply will benefit from the strength of the Andy’s Tire Group network with an expanded line up of high-quality tire brands, larger inventory and efficient logistics support.”
