What was your first job in the industry?
I started at Bartec USA in 2007 as a shop associate. I was able to quickly learn the product line and soon moved into the role of product manager.
What attracted you to the industry?
The idea of something new. Coming from automotive manufacturing (sheet metal/laser cutting) I was looking for a new challenge that would allow me to use the skills learned in an environment that was constantly evolving.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your career?
Data sharing is critical. What is difficult in the aftermarket is the original equipment level in some cases doesn't even understand what data is needed, nor do they have it correct themselves.
Who has had the biggest influence on your career?
My supervisor, Scot Holloway, CEO of Bartec USA.
What is your biggest accomplishment in the industry?
Since 2008 I have been able to present our products in both live and web-based "clinics" to countless numbers of automotive professionals.
