Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc. has expanded its presence in Texas via the acquisition of 33 Caliber Auto Care locations.
Sixteen of those stores are located in Dallas, 13 are located in Houston and four are located in San Antonio.
The facilities had been owned by body shop giant Caliber Collision.

Chris Ripani, Sun Auto Tire’s chief operating officer, says, “I have seen first-hand the professionalism and people-first culture at Caliber Auto Care and I couldn’t be happier to grow our team in these strategic Texas markets.”
With more than 425 locations, Sun Auto Tire, which is based in Mesa, Ariz., is one of the five largest tire dealerships in the United States, according to MTD research.
