The Automotive Service and Tire Alliance (ASTA) will host tire dealers, shop owners and their service advisors and technicians at the ASTE show Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in Cary, N.C.
The ASTA is the new organization resulting from the 2021 merger of the North Carolina Tire Dealers Association and the Independent Garage Owners Association.
The event will feature more than 50 management and technical seminars, a vendor trade show with more than 100 registered exhibitors and networking events.
New this year is “Deep-Dive Thursday” with in-depth talks on pressing issues. Technical instructors for sessions throughout the conference will include Seth Thorson, Justin Morgan, Matthew Skundrich, the Tire Industry Association's Kevin Rohlwing, Jim Morton, Brandon Steckler, and Keith Perkins, while management instructors will feature Rick White, Cecil Bullard and Maylan Newton.
The 2022 event will feature YouTube creators and automotive podcasts such as ASOG Podcast’s Lucas Underwood and David Roman, as well as Carm Capriotto of the Remarkable Results Radio Podcast. Also new in 2022 is the off-site hands-on training with Carquest Technical Institute and on-site with Garage Guru’s mobile training trailer.
The event will be located at Cary's Embassy Suites and Convention Center, where the entire property will be dedicated to ASTE.
There are several admission tickets and pricing options available. A general admission ticket for Friday-Saturday costs $325 or a four-person “Shop Pass” costs $850, with each additional employee adding another $249. The Deep-Dive Thursday add-on tickets are $199 for individuals or $600 with Shop Pass to add all four team members.
