Black’s Tire Service Inc. continues its support of the Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina by hosting its annual benefit golf tournament on Sept. 15. The event will be held at the Carolina Trace Country Club in Sanford, N.C., near Fayetteville.
The tire dealership invites its tire industry partners to join in supporting the charity, which serves abused, neglected and abandoned children to help them become productive members of the community. The founder of Black’s Tire, W. Crowell Black, was among the charity’s original board of directors members.
There are opportunities to help sponsor the event, with levels from $250 to $10,000.
The entry fee to play is $85 per player. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and tee off time is 10 a.m. The day includes both breakfast and lunch, as well as green fees and a golf cart.
Capacity is limited to 200 golfers. The deadline to register is Aug. 31.
