Federal gets its license in the Philippines

Sept. 28, 2012

Federal Corp. has earned its Philippine Standard (PS) license. Federal says the certificate acknowledges Federal "as an international tire brand with a consistently applied system of quality standards and procedures."

The certification is based on the Philippines' national standards for the purpose of product certification under the Department of Trade and Industry’s Bureau of Product Standards (DTI-BPS) policy. It also follows ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification guidelines.

“Having achieved the initial certification, we know there is a continuing demand from our customers to provide the utmost in quality and value," says Jerry Lai, Asia sales executive for the Global Sales Division. “Federal Tires will be working in a true collaborative partnership with international distributors to provide outstanding products with the highest levels of satisfaction."

PPC Asia Corp. is the exclusive Philippine distributor of Federal tires. Its distribution network includes branch coverage in key cities of the country, and foreign hubs and satellite warehouses in Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and other connecting regions.
