Nokian Partners With POWDR to Plant Trees

May 13, 2024

Nokian Tyres Inc. has teamed up with POWDR, an adventure lifestyle company, to plant trees for season passes sold at participating POWDR resorts.

Guests who purchase 2024/2025 qualifying season passes to select POWDR resorts will have a tree planted on their behalf by Nokian Tyres and POWDR.

The program applies to passes purchased during or before the resort’s discounted price windows.

This is the fourth year the companies have partnered to plant trees. In the first three years of the “Buy a Pass. Plant a Tree. Play Forever.” program, the companies have helped restore hundreds of acres of deforested land and combat soil erosion.

“We are passionate about keeping drivers safe, and our definition of safety extends to the environmental areas where their journeys take place,” says Hans Dyhrman, director of marketing for Nokian Tyres North America.

“It’s invigorating to work with a partner like POWDR to advance the journey to a safer world.”

“It has been wonderful to be able to see a direct, meaningful impact in carbon sequestration with forests that need our restoration support the most,” says Meghan Matschke, vice president of partnership for POWDR.

“We are excited to continue making a difference with this year’s trees as well.”
