Fountain Tire Ltd. has been designated as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies once again.
The Edmonton, Alberta-based company says it “was once again named among the nation’s top private businesses in the 30th annual Canada’s Best Managed Companies awards.
Fountain Tire has received the award every year since its inception 30 years ago.
“We’re incredibly proud of this milestone and the ongoing recognition as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies,” says Fountain Tire CEO, Jason Herle.
“As our organization has grown and evolved, we’ve stayed true to our core values and our commitment to partnerships. These attributes have stood the test of time, proving to be as relevant today as they were 30 years ago.”
Canada’s Best Managed Companies honors “excellence in Canadian-headquartered companies with revenues of $50 million or greater,” according to the award’s organizers.
“Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial businesses compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates four main pillars: strategy; culture and commitment; capabilities and innovation; and, governance and financials.
Fountain Tire was selected for the 2024 award for its strategic planning, customer relations, corporate culture and focus on innovation.
“The company’s unique business model, wherein local leaders split ownership of their store 50/50 with the company, continues to set Fountain Tire apart from its peers.”
