Autel Introduces MaxiSYS 906 MAX Diagnostic Tablet

Oct. 30, 2024

Autel U.S. has introduced its MaxiSYS 906 MAX diagnostic and service tablet.

The new product, which is available to ship on Friday, Nov. 1, features vehicle coverage, a service menu with more than 40 direct-to-function guided resets, adaptations and coding and more.

The tablet features a larger screen and a wireless Bluetooth-enabled vehicle communication interface and advanced protocols for new vehicles.

“Autel developed the 906 tablet line to give time-strapped technicians working at a general repair shop a powerful yet dependable tool for diagnosing, servicing and repairing the many vehicles of all ages and all makes that come into their shops – a professional tool at an affordable price,” says Mike Flink, director of sales and training for Autel.

The tablet uses AutoVIN or ScanVIN to quickly and accurately identify the vehicle. Then, the tablet uses AutoScan 2.0 with rapid all-systems fault detection with options to share pre and post-scans with customers and insurance adjusters.

Once scanned, users have vehicle data and diagnostics at their fingertips including ECU information, code description, Freeze Frame and more.

The Android 10-powered tablet offers bi-directional communications and testing.

It is also authorized by Stellantis, Nissan, Volkswagen and Audi for security gateway access on newer vehicles.

Included on the tablet are battery tests and MaxiVideo applications. With the purchase of the Autel MaxiBAS BT506, technicians can perform battery, starter and charging system testing and produce detailed graphical customer reports. With the purchase of the MaxiVideo MV105S or MV108S, technicians can use the tablet display to inspect hard-to-reach or hard-to-see spaces in components and within vehicle systems.
