Coats Co. has announced the launch of the Coats CWA6000 3D Wheel Aligner – a complement to the CWA6500.
The CWA6000 features standard clamps, a brake pedal decompressor, a steering wheel holder, wheel chocks and Black Diamond Mini Targets. It also features a compact design and intuitive software.
According to Coats officials, the new wheel aligner provides “precise and detailed alignment measurements and a user-friendly interface, but without the premium features of the CWA6500, which is built for high-volume shops specializing in advanced alignments.”
Key differences between the CWA6000 and the CWA6500, according to Coats officials, is the “CWA6500 features QC20 Tire Gripping Clamps, a VIN scanner, a motorized auto tracking camera beam and a built-in printer for seamless alignment processes, making it ideal for luxury and high-performance vehicles.
The CWA600 “offers a manual control power camera beam, a stationary LCD monitor and essential alignment tools, providing an efficient and cost-effective solution for shops entering the alignment market.”
"We wanted to create an aligner that allows any shop, regardless of size or budget, to offer professional-grade alignments," says Kyle Harris, senior product manager at Coats.
"The CWA6000 delivers the precision and reliability Coats is known for, in a format that makes sense for smaller businesses."
Just like the CWA6500, the CWA6000 is equipped with software features designed to streamline the alignment process and improve efficiency. Toe Plus Technology simplifies toe adjustments, eliminating the need for a steering wheel lock, while Quick Sweep allows for fast and accurate caster measurement. The system offers two measurement modes—Standard Mode for a guided step-by-step process and Quick Measurement Mode for rapid compensation and instant inspection reports. With five different compensation methods, technicians can easily work on a variety of vehicles, including heavy-duty models, say Coats officials.
