Michelin North America Inc. says its new BFGoodrich Advantage Control tire delivers all-season traction and handling for passenger cars, crossover vehicles and minivans. The tire will be available in Canada on March 1. It will launch in the United States and Mexico on April 1.
"Aiming to give drivers peace of mind, the Advantage Control features design and compound improvements," according to Michelin officials.
The tire features Aqua-Flume Technology that - when combined with its advanced all-season compounds - offers enhanced braking performance on wet roads.
"This technology displays a curvilinear groove system designed to evacuate water from under the contact patch. By doing so, consumers can expect all-season control in their daily driving."
The Advantage Control also boasts a next-generation g-Wedge Sidewall Stabilizer. "This steadies the tire sidewall, allowing the Advantage Control tire to show crisp handling and provide a comfortable ride."
“By listening to needs of both our dealers and consumers, BFGoodrich has improved everyday driving,” says Stephen Peters, BFGoodrich brand director. “Whether it is taking a family road trip or visiting a place that brings a sense of escape, BFGoodrich is there to help create long-lasting memories.”
