Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels is once again backing racer Jordan Pellegrino in the annual King of the Hammers series in Johnson Valley, Calif.
Mickey Thompson will provide competition-level Baja Boss X tires for Pellegrino as he races in the Ultra4 4400 class.
"We look forward to watching Jordan race at the iconic King of the Hammers again," says Ken Warner, vice president of marketing for Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels.
"The trails in Johnson Valley feature some of the toughest terrain out there and provide a great setting to show the versatility and performance of the Baja Boss X."
Introduced last year, the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss X is a competition version of the company's Baja Boss product. It contains a race-specific compound for off-road applications and is available in two sizes: 37x12.50R17LT and 40x13.50R17LT.
King of the Hammers starts on Jan. 28 and will last through Feb. 6.
