CEAT has introduced a very-high flexion (VF) version of its Torquemax ag tire. VF technology provides 40% higher load carrying capacity than standard radials, carrying the same loads at 40% less pressure, according to CEAT officials.
“The Torquemax range has been developed to complement the growing performance requirements of the latest high-power tractors – both on roads and in fields," says Vijay Gambhire, CEAT's chief executive. “The new product line is a testament to our growing technical prowess, and we are especially excited to be offering VF technology to our North American customers.”
The company's Torquemax tires feature a stepped lug design for optimal grip; wider tread width for reduced soil compaction and enhanced yields; longer and wider lugs that provide a bigger contact area for longer life; tilted lug tips for vibration minimization at higher traveling speeds and a more comfortable ride; and more.
