The Trail Tamer HD, a UTV tire from the Carlstar Group's ITP brand, is an eight-ply tire designed to be a utilitarian tool with puncture and impact resistance.
“The ITP Trail Tamer HD is the perfect upgrade to a product that is substantially more robust than OEM tires in the applications it is designed and sized for,” says Rhett Turpin, director of ITP sales at The Carlstar Group.
“The sturdy bias construction in eight-ply rating provides the durability, stability, puncture, and impact resistance needed for the most demanding of environments from consumer to commercial,” says Todd Hinson, Carlstar's powersports product manager.
The Trail Tamer HD tire is made for UTVs used in extreme environments. The squared shoulder design provides lateral stability, and the intermediate tread design offers traction and braking on multiple terrains, the company says. The tire's cross-ply construction provides rigidity in high load applications.
The Trail Tamer HD tire is available in 23 inches.
