Indy Tire Centers Inc. dba Best-One of Indy has finalized its fourth acquisition of 2021 with the purchase of Best-One Tire & Auto Care of Richmond, Ind.
Owners Roger and Aurelia Clark opened their store in 1991 and after 30 years in business are retiring. The sale was effective Dec. 1, 2021.
“After 30 years of proudly serving our community, it is with mixed emotions that my wife and I are announcing our retirement. These 30 years would not have been possible without all of our customers and great employees,” said Roger Clark. “While we will be retiring, I am pleased to reassure our customers that Clint and his team will still be at the counter.”
For Best-One of Indy, the deal expands the Indianapolis-based tire dealer into a new market. the store will serve its customers "with the same great local people, same great service, and quality products that Roger, Aurelia and their team have been delivering for the past 30 years."
The addition of Richmond gives Best-One of Indy 15 retail locations and almost 200 team members across central Indiana.
And the deal comes after Best-One of Indy acquired the two-store operation of R&T Tire in April, followed by the July purchase of Riley Park Tire in Greenfield, and most recently the acquisition of Robinson Tire in Lafayette.
“We are excited to continue the Best-One legacy that the Clarks have built in Richmond,” says Rich Elliott, president of Best-One of Indy. “We have been family-owned for 35 years, and we plan to keep the same family, local feel at Best-One of Richmond while delivering superior customer service.”
