Hankook President Brison to Leave Company on July 1

June 29, 2022

Hankook Tire North America President Curtis Brison is stepping down from that role and leaving Hankook on July 1. Sooil Lee, CEO of parent company, Hankook Tire & Technology, will take over as interim president.

In a statement issued today, Hankook officials said that Brison “is moving on from his role as president ... effective July 1."

Referring to Brison’s interim successor, Hankook said, “Mr. Lee previously served as president of Hankook Tire America Corp. from 2009-2012 and also from 2020-2021.

“The U.S. market is fundamental to our global business strategy and we are committed to our customers’ success. Our strong management team will continue to ensure consistent operations during this transition. We thank Curtis for his contributions to Hankook and wish him the best on his next endeavor.”

Brison was named president of Hankook Tire North America this past January, replacing Lee.
