Creamery Tire Installs RoboTire System

Dec. 20, 2022

RoboTire has installed its automated tire changing system into a Creamery Tire Inc. store in the north Philadelphia, Pa., suburbs.

The store, located on Creamery Road in Creamery, Pa., is one of the independent tire dealership's four locations in communities north of Philadelphia.

RoboTire uses robotics, machine learning and artificial intelligence to automate and accelerate the tire changing experience. The company says its technology changes the current hour-long process to 25 minutes, allowing tire dealerships and service providers to service more vehicles.

Victor Darolfi, RoboTire co-founder and CEO, says, “We are thrilled to partner with Creamery Tire as we deploy our tire changing technology into more brick-and-mortar locations. We see a growing demand for safer and more efficient tire changing practices that benefit automotive shop owners and customers. RoboTire and Creamery Tire working together to integrate our robots with their expert staff will provide the best possible customer experience.”

“RoboTire’s systems are truly revolutionizing the way tires are changed, and we are excited to be one of the first shops in North America to offer this innovative service model to our customers,” says Joseph Franklin, CEO of Creamery Tire Inc. “We are dedicated to bringing the best technology and experience to our employees and customers alike in Pennsylvania.”

Creamery tire began using the RoboTire system on Dec. 16. The tire dealership plans to install RoboTire at two more of its locations as well.

RoboTire's first retail installation in the U.S. was in a Discount Tire store in Fountain Hills, Ariz. Discount Tire's parent company is a RoboTire investor.
