Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) will showcase several products within its Earthmax OTR tire line during next week's Waste Expo show in Las Vegas, Nev.
Waste Expo will take place May 10-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Tires in the waste sector "not only have to meet the requirements of resistance and durability, but they must also offer stability to the equipment and a certain level of comfort to the operator," say BKT officials.
BKT tires to be displayed include the Earthmax SR 53, which is designed for loaders, dozers and low-profile dump trucks that operate in severe-service conditions; the Earthmax SR 41, which BKT calls "a multi-purpose tire for loaders, dump trucks and dozers;" and the Earthmax SR 55, "which features a smooth tread design for peak productivity and extra durability.
"The design gives additional protection thanks to the cut-resistant compound, which is especially helpful in waste facilities and scrap yards."
