Global Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd.'s (GRI) new Green XLR Earth ag tire has achieved "noteworthy performance" during field tests.
Tests have taken place over the last six months in Germany.
"These tires incorporate an impressive 78.6% sustainable material, including pure natural rubber sustainably sourced from Sri Lankan rubber farmers," say GRI officials.
The Green XLR Earth "represents a significant milestone in our journey to make a positive impact on our planet," says GRI Managing Director Prabhash Subasinghe.
The tire blends "cutting-edge technology with eco-friendly materials," he says.
