BKT will highlight its new BKT Tire Track Pro tire management system and several Earthmax OTR tires at MINExpo 2024.
MINExpo takes place Sept. 24-26 at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Convention Center.
BKT will exhibit at booth 8813, where “visitors will have access to a sneak preview session demonstrating the new BKT Tire Track Pro software, a tire management system,” say BKT officials.
“This platform, which has been developed by BKT to optimize fleet management in the earthmoving and mining sectors, will enable timely tire performance monitoring throughout all stages from inventory to disposal, ensuring optimum utilization and significant savings in operating costs.
“The software is designed to suit any organization, breaking down geographic barriers and providing secure and efficient fleet management.
“By integrating predictive analytics, the system is able to anticipate potential issues, thus increasing both safety and productivity. Intuitive and easy-to-use dashboards will make data-based decision making quick and easy.”
Kenna Lentz, manager, technical Solutions, BKT describes BKT Tire Track Pro as "a cutting-edge solution for the mining industry, designed for maximum efficiency and safety.
"Because of its ability to monitor and predict tire behavior, we are confident that this platform will very quickly become an essential tool for improving fleet performance and company profitability.”
BKT also will display its extensive range of Earthmax OTR tires during MINExpo 2024, including the Earthmax SR 32 (40.5/75 R 39), a wide-base radial tire “that is ideal for scrapers. It features a special compound providing extraordinary resistance to cuts and punctures while ensuring a long service life.”
The Earthmax SR 41 (35/65 R 33), which “is distinguished by its ability to provide excellent traction on difficult terrain along with durability over time,” will also be displayed, as well as the Earthmax SR 468 (50/80 R 57), which has been designed for rigid transport trucks and “has an innovative tread pattern made of special compounds that is perfect for digging operations on hard, rocky and challenging terrains,” according to BKT officials.
BKT also will spotlight the Earthmax SR 51 (29.5R29); the Earthmax SR 53 (60/80R57), which features a deep L-5 tread and "a particularly cut-resistant compound;" and the Mine Star (38 X 16-15), a cross-ply tire.
