Bridgestone Americas Inc. has unveiled the new Firestone Transforce HT3 and V2 tires for commercial trucks and vans.
Both tires feature the company's ENLITEN Technology and are designed to deliver wet-weather performance; confident, high-speed handling and other benefits.
The Transforce HT3 is for heavy-duty trucks, while the Transforce CV2 is for last-mile delivery vans.
“Our goal for the Firestone Transforce HT3 and CV2 tires was to create two surefooted commercial highway tires that hold up to the strenuous duties of fleet service while focusing on a quiet and long riding experience,” says Jeremy Norwood, chief engineer of consumer replacement product engineering, Bridgestone.
The Transforce HT3 is offered in strictly light truck sizing with a rim diameter range of 16 inches to 20 inches. It features an off-shoulder sidewall design with noise abatement components and interlocking 3D sipes that fight irregular wear.
The Transforce CV2 is offered in EURO-C and light truck sizing and is more highway-focused. It features a sidewall defense rib for optimal durability, a lowered shoulder-slot angle for enhanced snow traction and extended wear life.
