Nokian Tyres plc will unveil a new ag tire and a new ag tire management system at next month's Agritechnica show.
The new Nokian Ground King "brings new opportunities for tractor and machine contracting by combining on-road endurance, traction and grip on soft terrain," as well as a high load-carrying capacity, according to Nokian officials.
"The most distinguishing feature of the new Nokian Ground King tire is a whole new type of tread pattern - Hybrilug Technology - that provides strong grip on all terrain, including soft surfaces."
During Agritechnica, Nokian also will introduce its Intuitu digital, real-time ag tire management system, which combines "sensor-equipped smart tires with a mobile application that records sensor data from tires, keeping the user informed with vital tire pressure and temperature data," say Nokian officials.
The system will be commercially available in 2020.
Agritechnica will take place Nov. 10-16 in Hanover, Germany.
