Denray Tire, which is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has become a Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) retreader.
“For the past 45 years, Denray has been strategic dealer of Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal products that include commercial truck, agriculture, industrial, passenger/light truck, motor home and trailer tires,” say Michelin officials.
Denray Tire, which operates a 25,000-square-foot retread plant, is also a member of the Michelin Commercial Service Network.
With nine locations in Canada, the dealership offers a complete range of services, including emergency road service, tire repairs, inspections and alignments.
“We have an excellent, 45-year relationship with Michelin and this new chapter gives us the opportunity to deliver additional service for customers,” saiys Derek Braun, president of Denray Tire.
“Our staff is excited about this new venture. Utilizing Michelin’s new-tire design technology, proven tread designs and new-tire manufacturing standards, the MRT retread process will deliver reliable retreads, designed to maximize tire assets.”
“Two generations of (the Braun family) have grown this business into a premier service solution for Canadian customers,” says Bill Schafer, vice president of B2B sales for Michelin North America. “We are pleased Denray has joined the Michelin family of retread franchisees.”
