Shinji Tanabe has been named chairman and CEO of Toyo Tire North American Manufacturing Inc. and will be responsible for Toyo's consumer tire plant in White, Ga.
A 41-year Toyo veteran, Tanabe has held a variety of ascending positions within the company.
In related news, Patrick Lenz has been named president and chief operating officer of Toyo Tire North American Manufacturing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyo Tire Corp., also the parent company of Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. He will supervise the Georgia plant's day-to-day operations.
Lenz replaces Donald Bunn, who is retiring from Toyo after a 17-year run. He was named Toyo Tire North American Manufacturing CEO in 2018.
