The Milestar brand from Tireco Inc. has announced a first-place podium finish at the 2024 Rebelle Rally X-Cross Class.
The Rebelle Rally is in its eighth year and is a female-only off-road event. This year’s event had competitors navigating for eight days through the Nevada and California deserts using only a map and a compass to cover over 2,500 kilometers.
Team MtnSubi opted for the Subaru Outback in the X-Cross Class, outfitted with Milestar Patagonia A/T Pro 285/75R15 tires.
The A/T Pro features Milestar’s advanced sidewall compound technology, MILETECH, for added strength and impact protection. Its aggressive upper sidewall also shields against sharp rocks and provides an extra sidewall-biting grip for enhanced off-road traction. The perfect tire design is suited for the tough Rebelle Rally.
Driver Carey Lando from Edmonds, Wash. and her navigator, Andrea Shaffer from Las Vegas, Nev. complete the grueling multi-day rally.
“Despite other competitors' tire challenges, Team MtnSubi had no tire issues during the entire rally, which was the most grueling and varied Rebelle course to date,” says Carey Lando.
“I knew I could count on my Milestars to get us through whatever we needed. After the rally ended, I drove the car 1,300 miles on the same set of tires, comfortably on the highway.”
