Myers offers seven new torque wrenches

March 29, 2012

Myers Tire Supply Distribution Inc. has added seven 1/2-inch preset torque wrenches to its lineup.

The fixed head eliminates both ratchet wear and the need to set and reset torque, which prevents dialing errors and incorrect torque settings. The uniquely designed curved head eliminates the need for a socket extension.

According to Myers, the wrenches can be checked and calibrated with a torque tester and a 3mm hex key.

The torque wrenches are color-coded and are available in 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120 and 140 ft./lbs. They are accurate to +/- 4%, and are guaranteed to meet ISO 6789, U.S. Fed. GGG-W-686D and ANSI Spec. B107.14M.

Myers backs the torque wrenches with a one-year warranty against manufacturer’s defects. For more information, visit www.myerstiresupply.com.
