Raybestos offers NASCAR insights in promotion

Feb. 17, 2009

The Raybestos Exclusive Master Technician Clinic Promotion at Joe Gibbs Racing will reward 24 installers with a three-day trip to Joe Gibbs Racing in Huntersville, N.C.

During the all-expense-paid trip, winning technicians will receive a comprehensive behind-the-scenes tour offering exploration of the top NASCAR team's fabrication shop, the chance to learn suspension and steering specifics, an opportunity to meet and mingle with Joe and J.D. Gibbs, a catered tech lunch with the JGR crew and more.

The Master Technician Chassis Clinic also includes a classroom question and answer session where technicians can pick the brains of the JGR team on anything from alignment tips to which NASCAR racetracks are toughest to tame, the company says.

"What we envisioned during initial planning was an industry-unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for installers," says Josh Russell, Affinia's Global Brake & Chassis Group vice president of marketing. "We are ecstatic about the Master Technician program we've designed with our race partners at JGR. This is not only an amazing learning opportunity for these folks, but an opportunity to visit and explore one of the top race facilities in all of NASCAR."

The Master Technician Chassis Clinic promotion will run from March 1 through June 3 with the event set for this summer. Winning installers are selected from a pool of completed, qualified tally cards, each totaling $500 in Raybestos Chassis Professional Grade product sales. Tally cards will be distributed to all Raybestos Safety Center members and by all Raybestos sales representatives.

Instructions on official tally card rules can be found at www.raybestoschassis.com.
