PAACE Automechanika Mexico scheduled for July

April 17, 2009

The 11th edition of PAACE Automechanika Mexico will be held in conjunction with the International Congress of Automotive Industry in Mexico on July 15 – 17 at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City, Mexico.

More than 500 leading manufacturers from 13 countries have signed on to showcase their latest advancements a wide variety of automotive aftermarket categories, including parts and systems, accessories and tuning, repair and maintenance, IT and management and service station and car wash.

PAACE Automechanika Mexico is organized by Messe Frankfurt Inc. in partnership with key industry associations including Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (MPRA), the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and with strong support from Industria Nationale de Autopartes.

“With the drop in new car sales, open border regulations and population growth, used vehicles are expected to continue to penetrate the Mexican market where the average vehicle life is 14 years compared to 5.7 years in the U.S.A.,” reports the show organizers. “These factors are quickly leading to an increased demand for aftermarket products and services in a market that is forecasted for continued growth and opportunity.”
