Consumer Reports lauds Right to Repair

June 19, 2009

Consumer Reports has vocalized its support of federal Right to Repair legislation.

A recent blog post on www.consumereports.org says that "Consumer Reports agrees, in principle, with the Right to Repair Act" because the legislation "would increase repair options for car owners."

Results from a recent Consumer Reports survey reveal that "people are more satisfied with service from an independent shop" than service provided by car dealerships, according to the blog.
