C.J.'s Tire, Hankook team up with Eagles

Aug. 18, 2009

C.J.'s Tire and Automotive, a Philadelphia, Pa.-based dealership, and Hankook Tire America Corp. recently set up shop at the Philadelphia Eagles' training camp in Bethlehem, Pa., to educate consumers about Hankook products.

Earlier this month, Hankook and C.J.'s Tire invited customers and Eagles' fans to the companies' VIP tent at the team's training facility.

Guests met with Eagles players. C.J.'s Tire also partnered with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to host a nine-year-old boy and his family.

"We have 11 stores here in Pennsylvania," says Greg Mynaugh, the dealership's director of sales. "We're an active part of this community. This was our chance to give back to the city of Philadelphia and help make a child's wish come true."

The Eagles' training camp is one of the largest in the National Football League, drawing an average of 60,000 fans each year.

"The promotional sponsorship included Hankook and C.J.'s Tire branding throughout the camp and expo row, VIP tent, Web banners on the Eagles' Web site, plus promotional items given away to Eagles' attendees," say Hankook officials.

C.J.'s Tire also gave away a signed helmet and hosted a tire toss event.
