The Tire Industry Association (TIA) says it will use several social networking Web sites to communicate news, information about upcoming events and more.
TIA has established a presence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, say association officials.
"Everybody at TIA is excited about our new presence on these major social networking sites," says TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield. "We encourage all of our members to consider 'staking their own claim' by putting their own presence on these sites that reach millions of people."
