Twenty-eight Bridgestone-owned Tires Plus outlets in Minnesota have earned "Green Star" status from the state's Pollution Control Agency.
The agency's voluntary Environmental Audit Program encourages businesses to comply with environmental regulations. In the case of auto service providers, areas of evaluation include the proper handling of antifreeze, used oil, batteries and other items that can have a detrimental impact on the environment.
