The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) at the Auto Care Association is displaying its new video, “Best Career for Your Future,” on a new website dedicated to auto care careers.
The video is a comprehensive overview of the auto care industry, highlighting the variety of career paths within its 500,000 businesses and 4.2 million jobs. The video features testimonials from successful young professionals in the auto care industry. Find the video at www.autocarecareers.org.
The video showcases the sophisticated auto care industry’s high-quality employees and its opportunities for young job seekers in multiple sectors including manufacturing, distribution, service and repair, retail and more. The video is among the many resources featured on the recently-launched auto care careers website. The site was created as part of the association’s Education Committee Auto Care Careers initiative to educate young people about, and attract them to, careers in the auto care industry.
“We all must do our part to keep this industry full of motivated, innovative and intelligent employees,” says Kathleen Schmatz, CEO and president of the Auto Care Association. “’Best Career for your Future’ is a great way to teach the next generation about our dynamic opportunities, so that the best and the brightest continue to enter the auto care industry.”
Additional resources on the www.autocarecareers.org include a custom-built, interactive career accelerator where users can click on a preferred path to learn more about positions, advancement opportunities and career trajectories available in the auto care industry, as well as downloadable factsheets that detail potential job titles and the skills required for industry positions. Association members are encouraged to link to the new video and website, and use them as resources in their recruitment efforts.
