SMP announces Intermotor scholarship contest

Standard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) is sponsoring the Intermotor Import Leader Automotive Scholarship Contest, which will present two students with a $5,000 scholarship each. The contest runs through July 31, 2015.

To enter, complete an online questionnaire at the company's website and submit a current photo of themselves. Entries will be evaluated based on relevance, creativity and thoughtfulness relating to the automotive import industry.  Winners will be selected on Aug. 31, 2015.

The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Eligible entrants must be between the ages of 18 and 34 and currently enrolled full-time in high school or in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or post-high school educational program.
