Les Schwab Tire Centers Inc. is celebrating its expansion into Southern California with the simultaneous grand openings of five stores.
The Oregon-based tire dealer is hosting three-day events starting Aug. 4, 2016, at these new stores: Fontana, Temecula, Norco, Moreno Valley, and Perris, Calif.
As part of the grand opening, customers will receive special discounts on Les Schwab tires and services.
“We’ll provide a fun atmosphere and giveaways that families can enjoy together,” says Chris Baker, manager of the Fontana location and area manager of Southeastern California. Baker has been with the company for 20 years.
The Fontana event features a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the chamber of commerce, complimentary treats from food trucks, a live local radio broadcast, and a meet-and-greet with the Ontario Reign Ice Hockey Team at 3 p.m. on Friday. Other entertainment includes demonstrations by a high school cheerleading team and Junior ROTC program, plus face painting, a craft station, balloon artist, and photo booth.
In addition, attendees can spin a prize wheel to win gift cards to local businesses, and also take advantage of a Les Schwab Free Pre-Trip Safety Check, which includes checking tire pressure and tread depth, visual alignment, brakes, shocks and battery.

“The store offers the complete Les Schwab experience from the moment a driver enters the parking lot,” says Baker. “We’ll greet you at your car, show you a wide selection of tires to meet your safety and driving requirements, and explain our free warranties for brakes, custom wheels, alignments, batteries, shocks and struts.”
