Jim Mayfield has been named president of Del-Nat Tire Corp.
Mayfield served as vice president of marketing from 2004 to 2006 for the private brand co-op before taking a position with Yokohama Tire Corp. where he had recently been promoted to director of business development.
Prior to that, Mayfield spent more than 20 years at Continental Tire North America Inc. and Michelin North America Inc. in capacities ranging from sales training, commercial fleet management, OE sales and marketing, mass retail sales and product management, and corporate marketing and brand management.
Dick Erickson, Del-Nat chairman of the board, says, “His level of knowledge in our industry combined with an intimate understanding of our company makes Jim the right choice to lead Del-Nat to future growth and success.”
