MTD recently asked its readers, “What do you think will be the result of ATD’s 2024 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing?”
Thirty-five percent of respondents said they believe that ATD will “emerge with new ownership.” Twenty percent said that “nothing will change.”
Sixteen percent believe that ATD “will go up for sale,” while 11% believe that ATD will eliminate its debt.
Nine percent of respondents to MTD’s survey believe that ATD “will break up its businesses,” while 8% said ATD “will close.”
ATD declared Chapter 11 for the second time in six years last week.
