TRIB will promote retreads at FedFleet 2011

July 13, 2011

The Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) will be an exhibitor at the Eleventh National Motor Vehicle and Aviation Training and Exposition (FedFleet 2011) hosted by the General Services Administration on July 26-28, 2011, in Orlando, Fla.

FedFleet 2011 brings together over 1,300 fleet management professionals within the Federal Government involved with the operation, maintenance, and repair of over 600,000 motor vehicles worldwide, including over 400,000 trucks, buses, ambulances and postal vehicles.

In addition to handing out materials explaining the retreading process, TRIB will be showing videos and distributing DVD's providing a tour of a retread plant as well as numerous testimonials from current government fleet managers about their positive experiences using retreaded tires. TRIB will also be reminding fleet managers about Executive Order 13149 and its mandate for Federal Fleets to choose environmentally preferable motor vehicle products, including retreaded tires.
